Puerto Rican surf rock band "Flashbacks" rocked two days ago on a local Cancer Fundraiser show where they performed three songs. The Band performed Santana's classic "Oye Como Va" followed by Ben E. King's "Stand By Me" and a Medley of "Wipeout" and "Batman" Orignal Theme Song. The band will perform next Thursday on a School motivational activity followed by a local Talent Show and a Tribute Concert. Here's the video of the Wipeout/Batman Medley.
Band Members:
In honour of the glorious basterd Quentin Tarantino on his 50th birthday and on reflection of his extensive groundbreaking work to date, The Good the Bad made a parody of the opening scene of Inglorious Basterds, inserting Tarantino film references as Christoph Waltz presides over his 50th birthday celebrations. Consider it a ligh-hearted gift to Quentin on his special day.
Also as a special experiment TGTB looked at rescoring some less obvious scenes from Kill Bill, Django Unchained and Death Proof with some TGTB music, as a tribute to Tarantino and his inspiration. You too can enjoy our tracks set to QT's films and even download the three songs for free at our website. Enjoy!
They still don't have a band name but they have 3 more local gigs coming up. This new local Surf Band from the island of Puerto Rico made their debut on a local school music concert after opening the act with a medley of The Surfaris classic "Wipeout" and the original Batman Theme Song. This young boys don't Surf but their Reverb is on as they will continue their journey as a Surf Rock and Indie Rock band.

Belgium's Pirato Ketchup's second EP "That's Right !" is finally available. You can purchase it on Pirato Ketchup's website in the Shop section.
Digital release is also availble on Bandcamp.
Of course the best is still to buy merch after the shows and the band will be touring to promote the release of the EP:
Surf Noir started playing surf instrumentals when they were seventeen, but now they're old and wise and play songs with vocals as well. Surf Noir think that they invented the genre Surf Noir, and sound like Queens of the Stone Age has invited Dick Dale and Chris Isaak to join the band. Kind of. This is dark, but fun music.

5 ultra-terrestrial space beings full of speed and science fiction "sci-fi speed garage." From Mexico.
Sounds like a classic movie scene science fiction revival 50s 60s & 70s, full of intensity and energy, to fast to futuristic melody all entities terrestres. Mega-Tones (megatons) is a band South of Mexico City taking their training in mid-2012 (June) being of the few instrumental bands charged science fiction that currently exist in Mexico, making the sound remembrance experimental space, garage, and rock.
Just seven days of launching the second track is scheduled Ibero 90.9 FM in one of the most important stations nationwide in Mexico UILI Damage (LOS ESQUZITOS leader, one of the most important bands in the scene instrumental-surf in Mexico) has shown interest and confidence band before announcing good for future projects including them in his radio program, now Mega-tones being part of the programming in RAW POWER 90.9FM IBERO as Mexican band playing between groups such as Sonic Youth, Nofx, La Polla Records, Holy Cobras, Carbonas, Cause for Alarm, Youth Brigade among others.
Recording two tracks in serving as producer Ivan Almanza with a fantastic result and quite out of everyday sounds, a clear sign that the - rushing sound combined with film gives a fairly powerful nuclear result.
Programmed into one of the most important Internet stations in the garage rock scene in EUA
