Tommy White from the Boston-based surf rock band "The Beachcombovers" here. I just wanted to check in and let you know about our thriving little surf music scene out here in New England. We've got some great bands out here including Tsunami of Sound, The Spytones, The Derangers, Matt Heaton and the Electric Heaters and the Fathoms. While our surf scene will never match the West Coast, kiteboarding just came to my neighborhood and it adds a lot of potential for excitement. So here's a little video for you to check out. Air temperature that day - 45 degrees, wind speed approx 25mph.

Go Zombie Records and Beaverama have reissued the long out of print debut full length from Orlando's THE DELUSIONAIRES!
Fifteen sizzling tracks of saxophone driven, reverb drippin', Sixties strip club lounge music. A sonic scorcher from the sleazier side of surf!!!
You can hear a sneak peak AND pick up a copy at Go Zombie! Records - its only ten bucks, postage paid!!
When I read the name I didn´t figure it to be a name for a surf band.
When I read the label for their debut cd "Reverb or Bust" it became interesting and the name of the cd "Boards and Bikinis" was most promising.
The cd was recorded in Porto - Portugal in May 2011 and released in 2012.
It´s a combination of instrumentals and vocals, some covers and many own songs.
Bikini Drag (Pyramids), Run Mustang Run (own), 10 Waves of Bad Surf (own) and "The Sound of the Surf Guitar (adaption of Dick Dale´s King of the Surf Guitar) are my picks.
Shark Reef and The Haunted Wind can be heard or seen on their homepage:

If you listen carefully you´ll hear licks by The Fendermen, Trashmen etc. The vocals remind me of Walter Egan´s group The Malibooz.
Nice beach rock - pop and surf from Southern Europe!!

Just in time for the Holidays! The wacky new album of Surf Holiday Favorites from "The Farfisas" http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/thefarfisas.
The Good The Bad have announced new bundle deals to celebrate the re-release of their previously sold out debut album "From 001 To 017".
Now on ltd edition PINK vinyl, it's available for £29+postage when bundled with the latest LP 'From 034 To 050, also specially released on WHITE vinyl.
Additionally, all three albums are now available in a CD Digipak trilogy for £29+postage.
Here's some reviews of the latest album, released in October 2012:
Just when you thought they were through, the Marketts just released a new album and the Routers are getting ready to release their second album of the year, entitled "Live At The Hollywood Bowl - The Routers" recorded live in 1963, the quality of the sound isn't that great but then they didn't have the technology that we have today.
Both bands were formed by Mike Gordon and Gordon wrote the Marketts first hit, "Surfer's Stomp" which sold half a million copies. Gordon then wrote "Out Of Limits" which sold over a million copies and earned him his 2nd BMI Award for instrumental of the year.
The Routers also had a smash hit with the hand-clapping instrumental called, "Let's Go" which can still be heard at sports events and used in many movies and television shows. The Marketts "Out of Limits" was used in Pulp Fiction and many other movies.
