The surffrenzy, organised annually by Dutch surf veterans The Phantom Four will once again take place at Melkweg in Amsterdam. Presale has started this Monday.

"I have always been a huge fan of The Treble Spankers and since day one Phantom Frank imprressed me once again with his work with The Phantom Four. Working with Niels at North Sea Surf Radio we soon discovered we have the same passsion for surf music, especially the tracks exploring the boundaries of the genre by incorporating mediterranean, middle eastern and other world music influences. The Phantom Four are at the top of the food chain when it comes to this approach of surf music and we are therefore delighted to add them to our roster." - Mike Papageorgiou, Green Cookie Records
"Working with Mike from Green Cookie Records at North Sea Surf Radio I have gotten to know him as a very knowledgable, passionate and driven person when it comes to surf music. With the latest vinyl releases from Dirty Fuse, Les Agamemnonz, Surfer Joe, Goggle A and Los Venturas Green Cookie Records was responsible for five of the best releases in 2013 and I consider their equally impressive "Search From Atlantis" to be the best compilation this year so far. We are very delighted and proud to be part of the roster of what we consider one of the best record labels in surf music." - Niels Jansen, The Phantom Four

…sound like Dick Dale on speed, the Pulp Fiction Soundtrack in turbo mode, like a car chase on Highway 101 with loud punk rock on the radio, 120 mph and no seat belt attached. The three piece from Wiesbaden,Germany combines the classic sities surf sound with neck breaking speed, wild feedback noise and a colorful range of influences. You can hear the American power pop of the Cute Lepers as well as Agent Orange’s West Coast Punk, and the Ska of The Specials. A fun evening is guaranteed!
THE PHANTOM FOUR
Phantom Frank conquered The Netherlands with surfband The Treble Spankers in the late 90's. In the slipstream of the success of Pulp Fiction the band scored an airplayhit with Red Hot Navigator, played all major festivals in The Netherlands and sold 25.000 albums. Since 2005 Phantom Frank plays all over The Netherlands with his new band The Phantom Four. The band opened for Dick Dale, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, G. Love & Special Sauce, and plays at major festivals like Lowlands and Paaspop.
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it or not but the new Phantom Four album "Morgana" is offically out. I've heard the entire album and must say it has everything you come to expect from Phantom Frank and the gang. Yes this is the instrumental album, not the "Sounds From The Obscure" featuring Arguido aka RudeBoy. You have several options when purchasing either or both. I personally don't mind the Argido material as I was a fan of his former group Urban Dance Squad. http://thephantomfour.bandcamp.com/album/morgana
