The Nor Cal misfits, better known as The Me Gustas, are venturing beneath the sea for inspiration for their next release! Immersed in deep sea literature, documentaries, etc. it is inevitable that this will influence our next release. Hi everyone!
I am a French student, great fan of Surf Rock which I discovered with The Reverbly Ones in Dunkirk and then at Surfer Joe last summer. I would like to spread it and especially toward younger listeners.
I am a member of the organizing crew of a student-charity-music-festival called “Is Santa a Rocker" which takes part in Lille (France) since 22 years. I am currently organizing a musical springboard with this festival and I am looking for small bands in the North of France (and in Belgium). The winner of the springboard will play at the festival. We currently have enough bands for the contest but I am sad there is no Surf band that participates.
I wonder if anyone could help me finding some small surf band in the North of France (north of Paris) and in Belgium to play in this springboard?
