Beach Boys "In My Room" was used to set the tone for one of the saddest scenes. For anyone that remembers the Keane pop art,and subsequent court case this is worth watching. — Happy Sunsets! Cool movie- I missed all surf references; the Big Eyes had me mesmerized. If you were taking in oxygen back then, you saw the Big Eyes in every dime store and grocery store around. Probably because Mr. Morricone was up for an Oscar for Best Original Score (which he won) in a film by Quentin Tarantino, who brought him over from Italy for the event. They also did an intermission little blend of "Few Dollars More" stuff at one point. So probably a connection there. Just snippets gathered from occasionally passing thru the living room; I don't watch these things.
