EL ZEB (BE) is the spiritual heir to Dick Dale. Since he heard ' Misirlou ' while watching Pulp Fiction in the years 90, El Zeb is fascinated by the sound and style of the ' King of the Surf Guitar '. He presents a mix of Dick Dale, contemporary covers and compositions that are faithful to the style. An EP was recorded with none other than the rhythm section of Dick Dale, namely Dusty Watson (drums) and Sam Bolle (bass

Oy we #Surf with ZEB, new project of Dusty Watson, legend of the surf drummer and the Zeb, a spirit of the surf guitar.

Dusty Watson has turned with Dick Dale who says of him that "is the most powerful drummer I've ever touched" and has crowned him as the king of the Surf battery.
Dusty was an original member of the legendary Jon and the Nightriders (late 70 ´ s), responsible for the resurgence of Surf music; Co-founder and original member of Slacktone; The Sonics Battery.

The Zeb started working with Dick Dale as a road manager in Europe and is the one who teaches him the surf guitar. Now, he embarks on ZEB to follow the footsteps of his master's sound and style.

https://www.reverbnation.com/stronzogelantino

Biography (Translated from German)

Stronzo Gelantino, a known genius and horsebear, founded the instrumental singing club Stronzo Gelantino and The Boo-Men in 2003. At last, in painstaking cold aquise, he had found the cast for his chapel, which was ready to present his hydrodynamic compositions to a select professional audience. The Boo men were born. To this day, the true identity of these insectoid masked strangers remains unrevealed. The quartet makes use of the methodological madness of polka, surf, melodies from the near to middle east, classic rock ' n ' roll and western tunes. Instrumental numbers on the edge of the nervous breakdown, wonderfully hysterical, like watching a bunch of flies perminently strut against a sloping roof window in vain towards the sun, browsing over amplifiers in the process.

The Apemen (Tilburg / Rotterdam, Holland) 1990 - 2007 / 2010 - 2014

https://www.facebook.com/TheApemen

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Apemen

The Apemen is a Dutch surf rock band, comprising band-members from Tilburg and Rotterdam, with their base remaining in Tilburg.
They have existed since the early 1990s, and has seen several changes in line-up and musical style since their beginning. Their most active period was in the mid-90s when they released all of their records. They are famous for wearing gorilla masks and suits on stage combined with various stage acts, including jumping and moving around on stage, shaking hands with the audience, telling jokes between songs and climbing on top of the bar while playing.
Their first album Are you being surfed? (1994) is strictly guitar-oriented, and includes a mix of songs from their first EP and surf classics like Pipeline and Penetration. The personnel on this record was Joep Verbeek and John Peate on guitar, Jeroen van de Sande on bass, and their first drummer Mike Rosema on drums.
Surfvival of de onbeschofste (1995) saw a change in line-up with Joep Verbeek and John Peate quitting the band, Jeroen van de Sande moving from bass to guitar, and David Andriesse filling in on bass. On this record Albert Benier was added to play organ, and he wrote much of the material for this album. The sound on this record is more organ-based with several songs using that as the lead instrument. El rey del Surf is their only vocal song on Surfvival..., and is a Spanish-language version of Trashmen's King of the Surf.
After Surfvival of de onbeschofste the group has only recorded one song that has been released: 24 hours from Tulsa which was released on the surf-music tribute to Burt Bacharach That's new Pussycat! (OmOm Records, 2000).
Their live-set mainly comprises songs from Surfvival of de onbeschofste with several numbers from Are you... and songs they have written after Surfvival of de onbeschofste, and has seen little change after their prolific period.
On January 6, 2007 they played their farewell concert in Geel, Belgium. Late 2010 they made their comeback on Burlesque Ballroom in Rotterdam.

Acapulco Riders (Vega Baja, Spain)

https://www.facebook.com/AcapulcoRiders

Biography (From Facebook page)

In the summer of 2006 the band was put under the name Acapulco Riders Band with Victor and whip with the guitars, David in the bass and, a few months later, it joined the battery Wasp.

With this training we started playing live and we managed to record our first Lp of title "Pecho Palomo, lead teeth ", shared with the great band of Benidorm Dirty Surf. The album was co-edited by Pantano Records and Sleepwalker records format vinyl color with a more than beautiful design and layout.

At the beginning of 2012 Wasp and whip left the formation and the group was in standby all that year. At the end of 2012 Aitor Hurtado took the reins of the drums and now Abel has joined the rhythmic guitar.

Pedrito Diablo y los Cadaveras (El Hoyo, Argentina)

https://eidonmusica.wordpress.com/2011/05/15/pedrito-diablo-los-cadaveras/

In the border city of El Hoyo begin to glimpse green sprouts... And this time it's serious. Peter the Devil & the corpses have hit the key, no doubt. Albariño, spaghetti and rock and roll seem to be the essential ingredients to bring to fruition any company, however farfetched it may seem.
Whole mornings enjoying Sergio Leone, entire afternoons of rock, long nights of roll and, albariño and spaghetti daily, have served, although many doubted, to give Life to his debut album. A record influenced by bands of the likes of the Ventures, the shadows, Link Wray or Phantom surfers and some of the great soundtrack composers of Spaghetti Western (Morricone, Bruno Nicolai, Alessandro Alessandroni...).
Although the origins are very clear, the band has been able to compose nine themes with its own personality, that without fleeing the standards of the genre are enriched with Tex Mex, Rock and a series B air that makes them totally go
