Here's mine. I don't know if I'll leave it as is or paint it or whatever.
I think that looks awesome! I would just put a clear coat on it.

Here's a pic of version 3 and 4. I have both because I messed up 3. It's my own fault but Björn is a good guy and sympathetic to people that do dumb things. He sent me a replacement and wouldn't let me pay for it. The aluminum enclosure is about to be turned a candy apple color. Pics to follow later if I don't screw up. |

Here's the finished project. This color is a candy apple color. It's called electric lime. I can't seem to take a pic to show you how it looks in the sun. I tried numerous times and gave up. This was a fun project I and recommend that all who have some skills give it a try. |

I love the color, it's way nicer than bare metal IMO. Good job sir ! |

Here's the latest one I built. If you recall, the first one was a minature blonde fender clone. I liked it, but I own several really great tube driven reverbs (Gomez and Fender). As much as I like the Surfy Bear, I'm not quite ready to use it as my main reverb unit live. And I didn't want to carry the miny tank as a back up. So... I built this. It looks like several other builds, but the cool thing is I built all of the reverb into the top, leaving the bottom empty so I can carry cords and pedals and such. And if I need the surfy bear, I can plug it in too. I think it will be a great back up. The foam is my "pan lock" for transport! This one sounds great- just like the first one.
