Come here the tales from Drake Missouri small town eight days off the Oregon Trail. Rock out with there original surf and covers of non- standards. Show starts at 9:00 pm, no cover.

If any of you have picked up The Penetrators DVD “Declassified” (available for purchase here: http://www.penetrators.com/loot.html ) I’m sure you’ve committed to memory the fact we played our first club gig on March 26th 1994. As coincidence would have it, the 15th anniversary of that date will be commemorated with “Operation: CRUSH CANCER” – A benefit for Brian (Spanky Twangler) Rogers at the Star Bar in Atlanta on Thursday March 26th and Friday March 27th.

Free live surf instrumentals w/ The Boardwalkers this Saturday, 6-9 (+ new Dumb Angel Blog)

On Saturday February 21 @ 6, come by Stories Book Store, 1716 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California (Echo Park, just South of Alvarado) to hear surf instrumental combo The Boardwalkers live and in person. They'll be playing between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Stories for a book event based around my new one with Brian Chidester, "Pop Surf Culture: Music, Design, Film and Fashion from the Bohemian Surf Boom." Several television monitors around the shop will be screening a wide variety of pre-1970 surfing movies as background eye candy (and for Pop effect) as The Boardwalkers play, and we meet, greet and sign books. Yes, there is a radio show in Utah playing surf music.  Moondoggie the program director at KWCR 88.1 Weber F.M. is doing a show each week.  Friday nights from 8:00-9:00 p.m. mst is the time for SURF SHOP.  You can also listen in at weberfm.org      Hopefully we get more listeners and with enough support, the show will be extended to 2-3 hrs.  Send in your support messages at weberfm@gmail.com     Surf On!----Moondoggie

Bert Susanka of the "cowpunksurfabilly" band The Ziggens will be performing at the Doll Hut with his band the Astronaut Love Triangle Friday, January 16th. Robbie Allen and the Sundogs will be in town all weekend while attending the NAMM show and are scheduled to perform as a supporting act for Bert Susanka's band.

The Sundogs will also be playing on Saturday, January 17th at the Fender Avenue Bar and Grill in Fullerton. In case you're attending the NAMM show, both venues are only about 5 minutes drive from the Anaheim Convention Center. Come on out if you want to catch a decent show while in town. Gary, Robbie, and Josh will be attending the show with the staff from Wilson Bros guitars and HTS Audio so catch 'em if you can.
