We wait you at the festival, entrance is FREE everyday and fun is guaranteed. There will be a nice american cars exhibition, various attractions, music instruments, records and so on.

Nor. Cal. favorites come down to spread their word in So. Cal. This is an amazing band. Plus, George Tomsco of the 50's and 60's legends the Fireballs, playing with 3 Balls of Fire from New Mexico.

Got a new band here in Cali! Korey Kingston is my new drummer. He has recorded and played with Tim Armstrong, the Aggrolites and is touring with Hepcat.
He has recruited the rest of the band, Dave-O on bass and Jeff Bennett on sax. We have been working on some new material and will be playing it at our next show.
We are playing at Slim Jim Phantom's place in West Hollywood, CA. Friday December 11th.

We've got some great shows coming up folks!  We'll be with Igor & Red Elvises on Nov 27th and 28th and with DICK DALE on Dec 19th.  Also scheduled are a Chili Cook-off, a radio show, and a live TV appearance!

Beloved midwest garage-rock kings and Sundazed recording artists the Trashmen will perform their FIRST-EVER New York-area shows, on October 23 at Southpaw in Brooklyn and October 24 at Maxwell's in Hoboken.

The seminal foursome—original members Tony Andreason, Dal Winslow and Bob Reed, with Tony's brother Mark Andreason taking over for the late Steve Wahrer on drums—will deliver such immortal Trashmen classics as "A-Bone," "Tube City," "King Of The Surf," "My Woodie" and the bigger-than-life anthem "Surfin' Bird," recently proclaimed the Greatest Song of All Time by no less an authority than The Family Guy's Peter Griffin.

Hard as it may be to believe, these shows mark the first time that the Trashmen have played in the New York City area. According to Dal Winslow, "In the early '60s, we played a club in New Jersey and around the Finger Lakes region, but we never hit New York City. It's been a long tome coming, like 40 years, and we're really looking forward to it!"

As a bonus these shows coincide with the WFMU Record Fair at the Manhattan Pavillion, where the Sundazed booth will, as always, be supplying smashing sounds to satisfied shoppers!

Outewave will be playing at Don the Beachcomber's in Sunset Beach, CA Saturday Sept. 26th 9:00 p.m. til midnight in the Dagger Bar.  Come check out the new and improved line up with Mac on guitar, Allen moves from bass to guitar, Tony on drums and Jeff Isles on bass.  Very hot and rockin' surf music.

Don's is located at 16278 Pacific Coast Highway in Sunset Beach just north of Huntington Beach.

“POUNDING SURF” DRUM DVD SEQUEL & GUITAR JAM SESSION

Our theme this year is "Before There Was Surf" exploring all the great music that laid the foundation for the music we know and love. You'll get first-hand accounts and performances by some of the folks that created surf music, plus all the great songs that first inspired them to play.  This year's show will be an unforgettable afternoon of music, history, jamming and fun featuring an incredible array of talent:

In 2005 we featured “Pounding Surf DVD Promotional Concert” at HBISM for the first time to a live audience.  Released in 2008 this DVD is entertaining, educational and includes the history of instrumental surf music from interviews with legends such as Dick Dale, Paul Johnson, Bob Spickard & Richard Delvy. 

Pounding Surf! DVD’s will be on sale at a special rate during this show only.

SPECIAL GUEST:   Please join Champion Surfer Mike Hynson for a book signing of his newly published autobiography, “Mike Hynson – Transcendental Memories of a Surf Rebel” appearing inside the museum during this concert.

We invite you to join us in celebration of 13 years of great music, from dedicated musicians who donate their precious time in support of the museum. Our concerts feature oldies but goodies and promising newcomers as well as celebrities like Dick Dale, Dean Torrence & John Blair who just happen to drop in.

We have shade pop-ups but the chairs are limited, so we encourage you to bring your own.
