Start 2017 right - with your copy of the Atomic Beliveaus first album! This highly anticipated collection of 13 original tunes from Toronto’s newest instrumental combo is just what you need to satisfy your six-string craving. It’s original rock’n’roll with a strong vintage vibe, powered with reverb, echo, tremolo and plenty of whammy! La Bout! is a marvel in Twang-O-Sonic sound, carrying the Link Wray Seal of Approval. Herbert phoned me a few days ago and told me that he has 26 tunes in the can.
At least 18 will find its way onto the new CD called "STORMY".
In the new year he will start to have them pressed.
So let´s hope for some stunning tracks (this time I have not received a pre-sales cdr
so I don´t know what he will offer!???)

SandBlast is pleased to announce our first digital audio collection. It was recorded in one day at True Blue studios in Whittier, CA. Kudos to Brad Haymen at the controls. It consists of ten original tunes that vary from straight ahead surf to surf influenced musical walkabouts. We have a few videos on our Facebook page if you'd like to come by and give a listen. https://www.facebook.com/SandblastSurfMusic/
As always, thanks to Jeff and the SG101 folks for your support. Cheers!

THE AKULAS
Think reverb soaked guitar twang.
Think pounding drum beats.
Think cheesy organ sounds.
Think thumping bass vibes.
Shake all of that together – do not stir.
Serve cool.
That’s The Akulas.
Fine instrumentals, originating between the sun blasted shores of California and the dry deserts of Reverbistan. Rooted in Ghent (Belgium) since 2005, The Akulas remain inspired by the sixties sounds of surf music, Hammond craze and European beat and instrumentals.
After a critically acclaimed 5-track EP released in 2012, The Akulas proudly present a follow-up full album ‘Rustines’ early 2017 on Green Cookie Records.
Over the last years, The Akulas earned their stripes as a live band on stages in Belgium and also in the Netherlands. They played at events such as North Sea Surf Festival (Amsterdam, NL), Viva Lola Festival (Sint Niklaas, BE), Night of the Phantom (Ghent, BE), Rockabilly Day (Assenede, BE), European Bug In (Chimay, BE), De Kaaij (Nijmegen, NL), De Nieuwe Anita (Amsterdam, NL), Charlatan (Ghent, BE).
