"Sound of The Surf" has been accepted for the upcoming Accolade Global Film Competition later this month. What is hoped to be the first of many. This festival does not have any public screenings, however; only judges see the film. Still, this event promotes award winners through press releases to over 100,000 filmmakers and industry contacts through FilmFestivals.com. Please note that "Sound of The Surf" is not quite finished. What is being submitted for consideration is a near-final "festival edit." And, so, with a gentle push....away we go. — |

Happy to announce that "Sound of The Surf" has been accepted for this year's Newport Beach Film Festival!! This will be the film's first public screening, AND in the city where the music and the scene truly began in 1961. Screening time in October will be announced in about four weeks and I hope all of the local SoCal fans will help make this an SRO event. — |

That is RAD! There have been times that I thought I might never see this thing. I know now that we are all closer to seeing it than not. Thanks so much John Blair for seeing this through!! —"You can't tell where you're going if you don't know where you've been" |
