Rikki and I were so happy to finally be able to see it on the big screen. Tom’s dream come true! Thank you John Blair and Issy Duncan for driving this film home. I was there with Tom from the beginning. He approached me at a gig when I was playing with The Surfaris and said he might want to do a documentary on surf music. We had several talks and I introduced him to a few people and the filming began. He did such a great job telling the story thru some of the top professionals in the field of surfing and surf music. Historian John Blair narrated the film and did a great job weaving together the 60 year journey of how this music came and went thru the decades. But, who knows, Maybe if someone is coming from the Laguna area they could head inland a few miles and grab some donuts. They do look good. Joel Top
