The Surf Kings are from Oceanside California, and have been together for 20 years. We have recorded two Albums of original material, and currently working on our 3rd. We have toured Europe 3 times, have many film and commercial credits, have appeared on TV and have played shows all over Southern California from the local clubs and venues to festivals. Surfer Rex played a unique style of rockin' instrumental action-adventure from 2014 through 2018. We played original tunes and also contemporary tunes by obscure bands in a variety of styles, cultures and genres from all over the planet.
Just some of the many highlights include recording our Strange Salvage EP, opening for national tourning acts, playing gigs out in LA, having a blast playing the many cool venues in north Ohio, and meeting lots of great bands and cool people along the way.

Surfoniani are a surf music trio, devoted to the most reverberated sonorities of the Sixties. They came from Turin (Italy): Giamba on the guitar, Fra on the upright bass and Tony on the drums.
They were born in 2005 from the former punk rock band Funny Extasy that animated the night in Turin in the past years. In 2008 Matteo replaced Hermann and the Surfoniani played at the “Surfer Joe Summer Festival” and again in 2010, when they also opened the Los Straitjackets concert in Alessandria. The autumn of the same year, Herman came back and with him on the drums they played once again at the “Surfer Joe 2012” and opening the concert for another great band: Tito & Tarantula.
At the beginning of 2014, Tony, bass player in The Ponches and The Kelvins, two great bands of the Turin punk rock scene, took his place on the drums. With him, the number of live concerts increased and they consolidated their musical richness, distinguished by the drums and double bass strong rhythm section where Giamba’s wild guitar find its perfect place.
Besides participating in the already mentioned events, Surfoniani played in many concerts in Piedmont, Lombardy and Liguria.
At the end of 2015, the band walked into the studio and recorded the tracks since then just played in live. The first record, produced by Surfoniani and distributed by Surf Cookie Records, it’s out in June, just in time to be the 2016 summer soundtrack!
After few concerts outside the peninsula (France and Belgium) and some important festivals in the north of Italy (Volks ’n’ Roll, Rokkarolla Fest, Busker Festival, Festa di Radio Onda d’Urto), the Surfoniani are back in the recording studio for three new tracks including the hit “Cleopatra” that will be included in the vinyl Ep coming out on February 2019 for Mandingo Records
