I decided against building another Jag! I was already to buy another body, but I couldn't find an unfinished body that had routing that wasn't stupid. And thankfully, most people won't sell you an unpainted body!
I really wanted to paint a body black(easy to do!) and get a black one-ply guard...

What year is the Rocket? A '64? It looks early.

Noel, it's fall of 1965
Badger - it will end well and keep Noel on track.
A local guy is coming by on saturday to supposedly pick up both guitars.
I just looked at the Rocket. I couldn't remember the date off hand.
Man.....that thing is CLEAN!
Another good reason for it not to reside here, be used by me. LOL

Good deal Jeff. Interventions move in mysteriously musical ways.
I'm currently sated. I gave your idea of the dual amp thing at home a try and oh my is that something wondrous. The modded BJr, run Vox-like, with the Champ giving real BF spank, should last awhile. The household is now in the mode of accepting gratuitous Christmas hints (left all over, like for a new multimeter) so will be patient & try to focus on giving.

There is no such thing as cured.
We are all addicts and the struggle continues every day, LOL
Acts of kindness do give you points or credits or something though.....
Cheers,
Jeff

Hello all. My name is Kilian, and I am a Gearoholic.
I hope it's not too late to confess and I hope we all can -together and with the help of reverb - get back on a better path.
I do not rememeber how much money I've spent this year on gear...
The main problem is, that my wife is part of the band and there's literally noone who stops me from buying new gadgets. I think I need professional help.

Yes, that does it make it more difficult. My wife will say things like "That looks cool, I love the color, shape, finish" or "You don't have one of those do you?" and that's all the push it takes.

It's even worse, as she needs gear as well...a new mic here, new in-ears there, you can never have enough stands, cables, etc.
But you are right, that little sentence pushes you far enough to hit the 'buy' button.

I would agree: That is worse, definitely harder on a household, LOL.
