I am just so saddened when BTD sent me an email earlier in day to let me know of our friend's passing. Hope you enjoyed the Dave Clark 5 CD's of all their songs and continue listening to them in between all the surf instrumentals we all are so fond of. Top

Baja Marty Memorial event. Sun. July 22nd, at the Starting Gate 5052 Katella Ave. Los Alamitos Ca. 7 pm to 10 pm after the HB pier show will add more info, exact address and name of hall etc. later. Starting Gate in Los Alamitos, Ca. 5052 Katella Ave. 7 pm to 10 pm, after the HB pier show. The Eliminators and others will be playing short sets, all are welcome, and encouraged to get up and give personal stories about Marty. Some I had, and hadn't heard in awhile, Richie Allen"german surf comp" Mermen, "Only you" and "Krill Slippin'" and stuff I Never found for sale and I finally got now. Trashmen Box set, and a CDR of a Live set of the Eliminators by themselves, and with Eddie Bertrand from the 1st SG101 convention. I am so glad, and honored to have these great gems, and hard to find cds, but very sad in the situation that brought them to me. Bitter Sweet in the most extreme case.
