I had to adjust the intonation and that was it. Neck feels pretty good. 9 1/2 inch radius fretboard I am pretty sure. Nice finish. But I am guessing poly on the body. Looks to be a pretty heavy finish. Played in for a couple hours. No issues. Time will tell how sturdy it is. But out of the box it looks nice. Talk to you later, Norm Top

Hope those of you who are buying them will continue to post your impressions. I'm holding out for Oly White, which is the only color I haven't seen on eBay yet. But, I already have a Jag and can't justify getting another one even at that price. I still will have a tough challenge in not getting one of the Jazzmasters. Hello again, I had wondered about that myself. I worked on a newer Squier Bullet. That guitar wss very light weight. I have a Fender Japan Strat with a basswood body that is fairly light (but nowhere as light as that Bullet). I was really surprised at how hefty the new Squier VM Jaguar felt. I just held a Fender American Standard Stratocaster in one hand and the Squier VM Jaguar in the other. They felt the same weight. I could not sense either being heaveir than the other. I don't have an American Jaguar to compare that to. 1 5/8 inches is thinner than an American Standard Stratocaster and the same thickness as a Mighty Mite licensed by Fender Strat body. Could probably handle 13s just fine too.
