Just thought I'd let everyone know, there is gonna be a battle of the surf bands here in Austin, Texas on Friday, April 4th. It will be Los SuperAvengers, The Nematoads, and 3 Balls Of Fire.....its gonna be a good show, all three are very good. You can find all three of them on Myspace.
The venue is At The Oaks in Manor near Austin, Texas. All ages, $5.
The Mighty Surf Lords have been out making new friends this past week.
One is local DJ Max Volume for KOZZ Radio. Max has taken me under his wing, and has been promoting our new album on this local classic rock station.
Max LOVES surf music, and is really helping to spread the word around Reno, Carson, and Tahoe.
Then yesterday we were apporoached by Buzz, who did a small interview and has made our music available, anytime, at www.RenoRadiocast.com
There are many people in this area who are discovering surf music, and they are really diggin' it! This is good news for all surf bands!
