Wow!!!
Great! Really rare stuff!!!
Thanks for posting those pics Zak!

I played the Yamaha TA60 on my last gig. Great clean sound. Best solid state amp you can find (for surf music).
The built in reverb is shit and the tremolo sucks, but the natural sound speakers are alll fine!!!
The TA60 is a LOUD and absolute clean amp. Its not a Fender sound! Its an own nice 60s sounding character you find here. Very bassy if you like to. Well balanced brillant tone! So check those TA60 amps out if you find one somewhere. You wont be dissapointed!
This amp is a cheap alternative to Fenders! Very spacey funny design. Looks great with the Yamaha guitars!
BUT: You need the Reverb tank for reverb!!! (Of course. As always.)

The little TA30 with one natural sound speaker is also very fine. But only for at home practicing!
Twaaaanggggg!!!!

Aaaaaaaaahhhh!!!! A TA 120!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This looks like a monster!!!! Nice!!!!!!
So a comparison video would be fantastic for sure!
Can you say something to the sound of the TA 120 yet?
I know that the TA60 is an unbelievable good sounding amp! The TA60 with Reverb tank is not much worser than a good old blonde 63 or 65 Showman in my opinion! (Of course a different sound, but the TA60 has a lot of nice creamy clean output!)

I guess the TA120 will destroy everything at a Volume on 6 for example. Maybe the "Fukushima" of all guitar amps!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!

Have fun!!!

Twang cheers!

Or for that fact anyone can help me out it would be great, I have recently scored a SBV500, a SGV800 and a EGV103C.
Any help on all of them would be fine, I am still trying to find out how to deceiver there date code or actually find any info on their dating system.

when I bought my Squier VM Jazzmaster, there was a red SGV second hand for sale at the same price. Undecided, I bought the Squier. If I see one, I think buy.

Happy NGD !
I may be wrong but this guitar is a SGV300 with mods. The main difference between the SGV 300 & 800 apart from the pickups and tuners is the neck: the SGV 800 neck is with bindings and an angled headstock (no buterfly string trees). Same with the SGV 700 ( non import model) it is like the sgv 800 (neck and tuners) but with the sgv 300 pickups and gold hardware.

It is a SGV300, turns out it is stock except someone switched out the one pickup in the bridge and it is missing the Trem bar. The Tuning Machines are different from the ones on the 800 only by the finish on the casing. The headstock are at the same angle and pitch.
The SGV300 did come stock with a dual pickup at the bridge.
Still waiting on Yamaha as to what year it is and the color name thou.
