That is a Great Comp,.
of course the cd Version has like 8 more songs on it than the LP.

Warren, is your LP Pink?

Jeff(btd)

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Those five extra songs weren't exactly favorites, though.

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

hmmmm that weird, I'm pretty sure my LP has less songs.

here is the cd for anyone who wants it.

This is a great disc. The music is well developed and
consistently strong, with solid writing and some well
placed drama.

For anyone interested in what the B side of the Spotnicks single above sounds like, check out a short sound sample of it below. The tune was completely new to me and pretty cool I think.

The Spotnicks "Piercing The Unknown"

You hit The Astronauts motherlode with those 45's, Klas! Awesome

For those who are interested in listening to this, I just discovered it´s available at Spotify. Check it out!
I´m very pleased with most of the instros. The vocal acts however... blame the damned Norwegian National Radio!
They refused to play instrumental music unless it was electronica, and we needed the money! Boose and drugs are not cheap! But I digress...
I believe this is one of few surf albums with mellotrons, and "The Drunken Surfer" might be the only surf instro ever made with a 7/4 time signature.

Baja Bug - The Surf Will Rise Again - out now!

I just discovered it´s available at Spotify.

yeah..but spotify works in some european countries only..
neither in USofA..nor in Germany..

better try prelisten at 7digital
http://us.7digital.com/artists/tremolo-wankers/devils-ride/
And for just 7,77.- bucks, its a bargain!

WHOT? Shocked Shocked Shocked

I was totally NOT aware of that Smile
Too bad! You´re missing out on a lot of great music!
Man, I hate when these things are limited by what counties you live in!
By God, I´m going to post mp3´s of the whole damned album here at the Downloads section! I never got any of the incomes from that record anyway...

Oh! My sympathy for that, Chief Wanker.

By God,

Yes. Talk with Brian about that! Laughing

I picked up this Supertones release from Tim a couple months back - still getting a lot of play. Really nice warmth to the record, solid playing. Feels like the perfect late summer afternoon following a long day in the sun, sand and waves - freshly showered with a cold beverage in hand.

Act on that consideration, you won't be sorry!

I also snagged about a dozen 45s, too, but I'm too lazy to hunt for pics of those. Among others - the new Beechwoods single, both Coffin Daggers 7"s, the Space Cossacks/Hypnomen split, Paul Revere & the Raiders' "Orbit," the Space Rangers 45, Thee Phantom 5ive's "Play Guitars Galore" and a Jackie & the Cedrics single. I know I'm forgetting a few.

Payday's not gonna get here soon enough, though. That much I'm sure of.

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Score! I found some awesome vinyl both this year and last year at The SG101 Con too. Yet another great reason for this yearly event!

I just ordered a Violents CD collection spanning the years 1961-63. They were Sweden's most famous guitar instrumental group after the Spotnicks.

(Sorry for the big pic, couldn't find any smaller)

Below's a tune of theirs that I find quite typical for their style and sound:

The Violents "Kors På Idas Grav" (Cross On Ida's Grave)
