I've been listening to this one a lot for the past week, too. Seems a bit more punk- and alternative-influenced than their first two, but a great album nonetheless! These guys have really established a sound all their own, sooo cool. Can't wait to get the new album! —Ivan |

Just added some singles and an EP to my small collection of Japanese PS 7"s. Haven't got them yet though.

if you saw the covers for the Sleezy Surf records, you wouldn't confuse them. Jeff(bigtikidude) |

That was Greg Shaw's (Bomp, Pebbles, High's In The Mid-Sixties, Strictly Instrumental). I totally agree with your summation not to mention the horrible cover art and the misleading title. |

Looks like you can still get the LP from Bomp for $10 - even with the GD MFing party noise, it's totally worth it just for the Fender IV, Truants, Vistas and Vy-Dels songs. —That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it. |

the Madeira - Carpe Noctem. this cd blows me away. the sound quality is crazy good. I feel like I am sitting in the studio with them while they are recording. |

I had no idea there was a vinyl version of this until today. Definitely worth it for the handful of surf and surf-ish cuts - especially the Huntington Cads, Boardwalkers, Davie Allan, MoAM and Insect Surfers tracks. —That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it. |
