yea how about a east coast west coast surf battle of the bands kinda thing, that way we could all be part of the whole deal and not just bands form the west coast that would play convention, even a rock rock a way beach verse surf city kinda thing would be a lot of fun —Facebook pages theSupertones |

REV HANK I already have a 7 band show MAY 25th at OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD, which includes THE MADEIRA!! Absolutely! I am currently making plans to "go west old dude" but I'd love to have something like that around our neck of the woods. Don't forget the City of Clarkston GA sponsors Surf Fest 2008 on May 31st. This year we will most likely have: Eddie Katcher —Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps? |

I have 2 upcoming SURF ROCK EXTRAVAGANZAS comin' up that I would LUV LUV LUV if some out-of-town SG101'ers would come around for!!!! HELL YEAH! separate threads here in SG101 in SHOW ANNOUNCEMENTS for: MAY 25th over Memorial Day Weekend, 7 SURF BANDS from 6 pm on!! it's called A SURFIN' SUMMER KICK-OFF bands: THE OCTOMEN, THE TARANTINOS/NYC, THE OUTPATIENTS, THE 9th WAVE, THE ATOMIC MOSQUITOS, THE COFFIN DAGGERS!!!!! AND, June 21st, first day of summer: 12 bands/12 hours on non-stop surf!! show is called LONG DAYS' (SURFIN') SAFARI INTO NIGHT 6 bands outside, then we go inside for 6 more bands both events at OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD, 538 E 14 St, NYC and, dig this: BOTH EVENTS ARE FREE!!!!!! cmon and safari with me!!
