Or as Steve Jones would say it "his guitar playing was like sex"!

I've always wished Neil Young would do an all intro album using the sound he got on "Like a Hurricane".

Here's an old nugget...NY playing with his first band The Squires.

When it comes to speed and weird melody lines, I would like to see Allan Holdsworth do some surf. I bet he can do a 3 minute song in 30 seconds.

I've tried several times over the years, but I just don't click with Holdsworth. For some bizarre reason, his music makes me really angry and irritable.

I'd like to see the following attempt some surf music.

Zakk Wylde. He's a far more versatile player than his band's style allows him to be, and he's got an absolutely monster tone. He's all about picking rather than fretting hand legato too, so should do well.

Joe Satriani. I'm about as big a fan of Joe as you can get. He's heavy with the left hand legato, but he's also a fan of jazz, bebop and exotic scales.

Buckethead. Great player, great gimmick, and probably has an album of surf guitar tunes ready to release some day anyway.
