Well, it's a Senn Fullerton. Original Senn is the brand name. If you mean it's a copy of a Stratocaster, Yes. Yes it is.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Seeing how I'm new to the whole surf music scene, I can honestly say my Squier Strat is well-suited to the genre. Still, I wouldn't mind owning a Jazzmaster or an Eastwood Sidejack. I tried playing some surf music with my Epiphone Wildkat but it just didn't sound right. Maybe it was the dog-ear P-90 pick-ups, I'm not sure.

Ive been playing for 40 yrs. Ive played and owned more guitars than I can remember. I recently picked up this Squier VM Jazzmaster and Ive been in love ever since. I cant afford an AVRI so this was a gem at 300 bucks.
Since Ive been heavy into surf, (the last 5 yrs. or so) I have been searching for an affordable axe that nails that surf "quack". This guitar totally nails it! Of all the axes hanging on the wall here.... THIS ONE is my baby!
My search is hereby OVER!

Been playing since 65, had a sunburst jag in the early 70s..but sold it Argh I use a G&L Legacy for surf tunes nowadays, my 79 Strat is nice but gets too heavy after a while.

Currently playing a Fender Squire Surfcaster. I am looking for a Teisco Tulip and an affordable Jazzmaster or a clone of one. That would complete the surf-line for me.

I am not obsolete, I am RETRO.... Cool

I played a spectrum once and LOVED it. The trem was fumbly, though...

IMO.

Sounds impressive. I've tried the Classic Vibe Strat, and really liked it, so I'm really tempted to try out the Jazzmaster or Jaguar, but I've been a little spoilt by the main Fender line. Got a 60's Classic Player Strat a while ago for a steal on ebay, perfectly set up too! Can't believe I came close to selling it! Been playing it a lot recently.

I like those cp strats a lot. Not stupidly modded like the jags/jazzies.

IMO.

one of those had i in the 70's. kind of hazy the memory is. what?? no. Duh

Enjoying the surf,sun and sand!!

My first electric guitar was a Harmony, but I longed for a Les Paul copy and saved up enough money from my paper route to buy one. Then I realized how heavy the guitar was and...traded it for a Stratocaster copy.

Cool my first guitar was a rodriguez classical that my dad hauled on his shoulder from spain. tough old man there!! loved that guitar!!
my second guitar was an electric, a danelectro-made silvertone with the amp in the case--tube amp withe tremolo and an eight inch jensen!! drove my parents nuts with it!!! my buddy down the street played and we practiced virtually all the time. surf music heaven!! we ignored the beatle thing.
really miss that old silvertone!! used it for years, did my first paying gig with it. wish i still had it!! Yes

This one is cool:

Potential Gibson mini humbucker in the bridge and tele neck pickup. Also, note the Derek and the Dominoes framed LP. I use to have four of those hanging on my wall. Truly and amazing record, it shows what guitar music should have been not what it has become. Music made from emotions, not from the precipice of technicality.
