Hey all
Just a head's up if you didn't get an order in, Eastwood is having a Model One giveaway, you can enter here-
Win The Jeff Senn Model One!

Bill S._______

Bill,
Thanks for posting the above link!
Anyone can enter, no purchase necessary.
If you're going to NAMM in Nashville this weekend you can play the prototype as Eastwood will have it in their booth, #1549

Also, to benefit our own - a Senn by Eastwood Custom Shop Model One will be raffled at the SG101 convention in August.
Stay tuned for details.

Cheers,
Jeff

Damn, that does sound pretty good! Did you get to play that Airline TT Jeff? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

The Squares - 1995-2002
The Mystery Men? - 2012-
MOONBASE - 2012-2017
The KBK - 2017-2022
The Frigidaires 2021-
Southern Surf Stomp!

Chad,
I did get to play it and really liked it.
It's not quite done yet, still some tweaks they're doing but I want one.

Got notified today by Mike Robinson at Eastwood that Senn Model One production is COMPLETE and they expect to be shipping 3-4 weeks.
Stoked - like deja vu' - all over again.

Awesome and Exciting!
Check out the Jeff Senn Guitars facebook page for a Demo/Test of a pre-production version. I liked it!
It was a lot of fun.

Yes, it is a cool demo; best of the bunch.
OT, noting your FB page, if you need something for the planes when you go visit Normandy Paris try:

Shrouds of Glory, From Atlanta to Nashville: The Last Great Campaign of the Civil War (aka the Invasion to Prevent Secession). Author Winston Groom. Really well written; much told from the perspective of CSA Gen J.B. Hood, but pulls no punches with anyone, on either side. Fine piece of history, and at the same time (from this soldier's perspective) heartbreaking in the near-criminal waste of blood & treasure.

Have a great time in Cali!
Cool

Thanks Wes,
That sounds like a great read. I'd love to hear more from John Bell Hood's perspective, especially about things like the Battle Of Franklin charge and Nashville. My wife and I have been reading up on and visiting a lot of civil war sites around Nashville. Shy's hill, Stones River. The entire battle field in Nashville has been lost to suburban development, weird.
Cool thing about Normandy is that my wife is just as interested as I am. She's as interested in seeing Omaha and Utah beaches as the Louvre'
She's pretty damn cool

Thanks again for the suggestion.

Then this is your book. It is heavily oriented about covering the march, skirmishes on the way, and the Battle of Franklin.

As to Chris, we can tell she's not "catch & release".
We're blessed when we have someone like that in our lives.

Have confirmation emails gone out?

I believe they have. I'm pretty sure Eastwood is hoping to ship in about two weeks. If you haven't received an email from them about color and payment you might want to get in touch with them or email.

Correct. Mike sent out an email confirming color etc., as well as describing creating an account, specific steps IN ORDER, and that upon checkout the deposit/whatever paid would be reflected as a store credit. Important to use the email acct for that account that you had for your previous notifications.

If you didn't get one be sure & contact Mike at Eastwood.

Mine is paid for, Jeff, do you have a spare/prototype pickup for a Model 1?

Ditto. I can hardly believe UPS wasn't knocking on my door 30 seconds later.

I don't have any spares after the Eastwood prototype build, sorry.
I will be playing the pre-production model they sent me a few weeks back on two shows this weekend. I'll report back on how it performs onstage.

Jeff

People are already asking me about the secondary market for these. I can only hope Eastwood produce another run some time in the future.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.
