She (Mod1) will fit right in with this gaggle of gitboxes.

No kidding Noel; and there was concern about just getting to enough for a 3rd color.
Cool

I wonder how long they'll keep this going? It's terrific!

Jeebers!

Busted 800%! (I wonder if we'll get to vote on Ariel's blue sparkly concept.)

Well I managed to take a couple of days mostly away from the internet, did some things outside (great weather), around other, live human beings and played some guitars other than the prototype (like my resonators, man is that relaxing) but came back to find that we topped 800% and am dumbfounded.
Talk about surpassing our expectations!

It's gone so well that, as Noel pointed out, they are leaving the order button active for a few more days for folks that missed out or forgot and it looks like a good thing seeing as more orders have come in since thursday.

caddady - the B&W one, with added sticker is going to fit right in with that troupe!

Wes, I wouldn't cross your fingers on that blue but who knows...Eastwood could surprise us all.

Thanks to all for following along, counting down an making this even more fun.

Outrageous!.

Cheers,
Jeff

I get it completely Jeff. Heck, it's hard enough trying to decide between the red & the green but I really do like that red - it so fits that guitar and what was going into it.

I wonder if they'll number 'em?

Wes,
The numbering idea is really cool.
I'm going to bring it up to Eastwood, see what they say.
It would be cool to do it as mentioned earlier 1 of xxx 2 of xxx.

Cheers,
Jeff

Precisely what I was thinking of Jeff. That would be a VERY classy thing for them to do.

One must've backed out. Looks like it finally closed at 795%. Got the invite to vote on my color this morning.

Is it here yet...?

A quick scan shows the Model One's 795% as the most successful funding of anything on Eastwood's Current or Completed projects pages, which would seem to make it the most successful project of all time. Could that be right? Wow!! Congratulations again Jeff! Worship

WOW! Congratulations on the success of this guitar!

I always go for blacks slimming effect. You will never heart me say " does this guitar make my butt look big" no sir you will not. Only thing is if you go full on Cash the thing disappears. Once you go........

Bill, Yes I believe you're correct (as far as the Custom Shop guitars) and it's all because of people like yourself and everyone else who supported this project, by ordering or just sharing and encouraging.

Pre-sale closed yesterday morning.

Now - we wait!
Damn!

Jeff

Well it looks like the dust has settled and the final numbers are in.

Really an amazing accomplishment - well done Jeff!

Bill,
The crazy thing is...
They are STILL taking orders!
I guess they can take them right up until actual production starts but I bet that window will close any day now.
This is fantastic in the true sense of the word.
Unbelievable!

Jeff

I think I snuck in 120, emailed Michael earlier ;)

I saw the initial specs at Eastwood's website & probably read this already somewhere but...

Is this like a 9.5 or 10" radius or thereabouts?
