Crazy Aces love the Surge.
When they are on a bill they are without fail, always one of our favorites.
I always feel like Ed and the gang are showing us - Kids, THIS is how it's done.

Cheers,
Jeff

I'd watch out for that Ed guy. Always smiling, humble and nice as can be. I think he's up to something. (Hopefully a new Surge album!)

Great video Chad, as always a pleasure to be invited to the SSS. Honored to share the stage with The Surge and loved Tiger Tiger

I have to agree with Chad and Jeff on The Surge..Top notch, true to the sound and great songs...they ARE showing us how it's done.

Wow guys!

Thanks for the kind words. We really appreciate it. It is big time fun playing for the hometown surf family at Kavarna and we couldn't do it without such amazing support.

The AmpFibians are such great guys and such a driving hot band. Their new record smokes! We will always jump at the opportunity to share a stage with them. The May show was our first ever with Tiger Tiger. I enjoyed their set a LOT! Hopefully we will be able to join them on stage again before too long.

Been hiding that video eh Tim? I noticed a pretty nice shot of the Surfy Bear at one point. Can't say much for the "guys in the band." hahahahaha

Yep Mike, we may just have enough new material to put together another record, maybe "Dam, rev 2.0.1 Volume 2." I have been recording some scratch tracks with my "caned drums" and the arrangements are starting to gel. We'll start rolling the hard disk this fall after Surf Stomp Fest.

Getting such wonderful support from Jeff and his Crazy Aces crew is very moving. Look out 101, those Aces are going to slay you. Take your PFD's and bring cash. They have really great albums. Jeff, Kiwamu, (sp ? sorry) and Alex can play their butts off. They make it look really easy....... It is not. Such clever writing....... amazing really.

Hey Badge, thanks. Have you got a copy of "Dam?" Send me a PM

When we get a group of Surf and Instro fans together in one place, magic just happens. Kavarna is the best thing that has happened to Surf and Instro in Atlanta since the Penetrators showed up from some "secret S3 Opps Headquarters in Alabama and lit Atlanta's fuse.

Hey Chad, once again, thank YOU so very, very much. Once again.....you are Da Man!

Grateful Ed

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

Ha Ha!
I don't think I will get her to dump Paris for Atlanta - no offense intended to our friends down there.

Oh, that's right. You're going to do that Normandy-St. Marie du Mont-Carentan-Etc. er, I mean Paris thing. Gotcha.
Thumbs Up

No offense taken. I think Chris is pretty swell and it'd probably be a good move to keep her around.

Here's a little video I shot of The Mystery Men? performing at the Star Bar for The Space Cossacks' 20th Anniversary Tour. This is strictly amateur video taken from the audience with my phone, so there will be heads moving in and out of the frame, but this is the opening number and it is just beautiful. Well done, guys! I'm so impressed with your three guitar + bass arrangement.

We're SO looking forward to tomorrow night with Messer Chups! If that weren't enough we've also got Genki Genki Panic, Biggie Rats, Jeffrey Bützer (rare solo appearance, just addded), and DJ Sticks (from The Penetrators, just added). Gonna be one HELL of a show!

Today's the day for Messer Chups! A year ago, I would have never dreamed they would play Atlanta. It's a long way from Russia.

I kept waiting for Chad to post this picture from his web site, courtesy of the The Sun King Surfwear, I believe. Pretty much sums up how I feel.

Thank you, Chad for all you do for Atlanta!

I REALLY hate to be the bearer of bad news but unfortunately Messer Chups had to cancel last minute due to illness. The show is still on as Genki Genki Panic, Biggie Rats, Jeffrey Butzer, and DJ Elliott Dangar (aka Sticks Stechkin of The Penetrators) are all still performing.
