Thanks for the warm welcome. Not from Oakland...just a fan from way back. Pretty much have lived in Arizona for most of my life. Explains the surf connection, right? |

Delrin, welcome again to our humble musical outpost. You have some really good surf bands in the UK, search our archives to find out about them. Check out our surf band member map to see who they are... These guys are world class http://www.pjmoto.com/specialty/duo_tones.php Though Gil is no longer with us, RIP... If you recognize the song in the video, the guy playing it is the guy who wrote it - Paul Johnson. —Danny Snyder Playing keys and guitar with Combo Tezeta Formerly a guitarist in The TomorrowMen and Meshugga Beach Party Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF Last edited: Jan 01, 2018 16:49:11 |

Welcome Delrin96mm! It's a great place to be. Surf is a great place to go musically. Listen to northseasurfradio.com as much as you can. Play as much as you can then experiment with gear that produces the sound. If you don't have reverb yet, buy a surfy bear kit and a soldering iron. I was seriously jonesing for a tank after going through pedals and my onboard when a guy named Bjorn released the surfy bear fetverb kit. I started a thread on here that is now about 100 pages on that technological development. It's a must have if you can't afford to spend a bunch on a tank. Chase tone, read threads, enjoy the chase and most of all, play surf! —The Kahuna Kings https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Kahuna-Kings/459752090818447 https://thekahunakings.bandcamp.com/releases Last edited: Jan 02, 2018 16:19:46 |

If you buy the kit, and get it sent here I'll make a Surfy Bear for you, and all you have to do is put it in a case. Surfy Bear is far superior to a reverb pedal, it drips and actually crashed when you kick it. — |
