This is the absolute best shrimp & grits recipe I have ever had. It is on the list of 100 foods in Alabama to eat before you die. I even make just the grits this way for breakfast and it really is to die for.(I don't include the collard greens when I cook this)

But this thread is being hijacked...hahaha

Best Shrimp and Grits Recipe Ever

Eighteen bands locked in so far. Hoping to grab one or two more knockout acts before things are sewn up.

Also on the prowl for more Sponsors, in particular for the Raffle. If anyone has any thoughts here, let me know.

PS--If you have a fat wallet, Crook's Corner, just down the road from the Cave in Chapel Hill, has the finest Shrimp n' Grits this man has ever tasted. (Maybe we should hold a grit-eating contest; we could call it southeastern sand... Wink

This just in....

Just added onto our Saturday night Lineup, Tallahasse, Florida's INTOXICATORS! Big Grin

Still shoring up the Sunday night lineup, but it's close to being filled.

Also, Phatlynx and the Rumble Jam/I'm Branded Contest may not be dead, but moved to another nearby location! I'm working out the details right now...Cross your fingers!

--Crispy

Quite the line up there Crispy
congrats!

you might want to update the band list on the first post,
with the additions you've made.

I think I just booked the last official band for the Summit: Vermont's Concrete Rivals have joined the Sunday night lineup.

After I get a hi-sign from all the bands, a full schedule will be posted shortly. Stay Tuned!

Great Band! Glad to hear they are on it.

Wow! Great Job Crispy. Have you tried Ludwig Drums for a Sponsor? Many of us are customers....They can be contacted via
Conn-Selmer
2806 Mason Street, Monroe, NC 28110-3826
(704) 289-6459 ‎

USA drums are made there.

Alright--

I have updated the first page of this rascal, which now shows the complete lineups for all three jam-packed and fun-filled days. Check it out!

--Crispy

PS--Good thought on Ludwig--I forgot they make 'em down in Monroe. They'll be getting lots of emails from me shortly.

A little tied up with life in recent weeks; slow to chime in here. STOKED for Instro Summit 2012!!!

Thanks so much for keeping it going, Crispy!

A little personal crowing here:

We've just added Vintage Guitar Magazine as a sponsor, which means free ads in a Nationally published mag for our little wingding.

HOO HAH! Big Grin

My husband and I might be able to make it (from California) to this event. Do we buy tickets in advance or at the door? SO MANY bands that I like that I have never seen live!

Coz

Cousin Mary:

We seldom sell out, but if you want to get 'em in advance, you can email me at instrosummit@gmail.com

Tickets are ten bucks per day, or you can get a three-day pass for 21 bucks. A bargain, if I may be so forward.
