Oh boy!

I'll run down and pack the van!

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

Okay, enough stalling for drama; here's the big announcement:

BIG DEAL!: the Dates for Instro Summit 2013 have officially been set! Next year, it'll be May 3rd-5th, and a brand-new location--The Casbah in Durham! Bigger venue, bigger stage, and more instro bands playing than ever before! Mark your calendars!

WOAH!!! That's HUGE! The Cave will always be the birthplace of the Summit, but I cannot think of a better home for it. The Casbah is happening and the whole Durham revitalization thing is beyond happening.

Nicely done, Crispy!

This is great news! I'm looking forward to this!

I can hardly wait for somebody to give me a free 2013 calendar so's I can write this down!

I have missed way too many events this year due to other stuff in the way.

I hate "other stuff" getting in the way.

Their entire set was great! Looking forward to Summit 2013!

We were gigging that night so I missed the A-Lads set last Summit, but I intend to keep my schedule cleared so I can attend all weekend this time. I heard it was great!

That reminds me...Robby and I have to get back in the groove and start putting out more Instro Summit videos. We had a lot of audio issues last year, so we have to really pick through them this time.

Tonight I'm told our local roads will once again be freezing over, so I can't think of a better time than now! Popcorn

The entire Aqualads set was indeed great, Greg's grim expression not withstanding, and so was pretty much the whole weekend. The only part I didn't love was the part where I managed to miss some stuff Saturday through sheer tiredness and ignorance. Apparently it's not all at night.
