Hello, I'm actually looking to get my new album reviewed. It's called 'Surf Flamingo' and is a Flamenco guitar approach to classic surf tunes and some spaghetti western classics.
My name is Ben Woods, I live in Long Beach, CA and play Flamenco guitar professionally. I discovered that American surf classics, Spaghetti western scores and Flamenco music all share a common spirit. With "Surf Flamingo" I explore this spirit. I would love to hear some reviews, thoughts and opinions from you guys. Thanks.

Hi Ben,
Both the links above connect to the same "Surfrider" video, so I listened to that one, and then a few more of your takes on metal. I guess it goes without saying that you are an incredible guitarist! I couldn't find the other videos, so, based on Surfrider only, I can see that you love the genre, but I think you are holding back. Seems like in your metal videos, you are cutting lose from the get go. I'd like to hear more of your record, especially if you are covering Morricone. Thaks for visiting SG101, I hope you stick around and teach us a few things.
Thanks, Ferenc
I agree with Ferenc, would love to hear more surf/Flamenco songs
Wow! Amazing, Ben. I did find Sleepwalk... Quite impressive too!

Just realized the hyperlinked album title takes you to the album in the iTunes Store where you can hear extended samples from all 13 tracks.

Thanks, Onslow, just followed your iTunes link to check out Ben's album.
Ben, I love it! I just heard someone do 'Apache' flam-style on the Jazz station in San Diego this morning which led me to google the genre 'flamenco surf music'. Good luck on your path.
