Our long-term project band, Forever Surf, has all sorts of news to share:
A bit of history: It all started in 2003 with rhythm guitarists "Reverb Mike" Finney and lead guitarist Deane "Can't Sing" Stanton meeting on a Ventures cruise. They began playing and eventually ran into bassist Dave "DP' Pike right here at the SG101 "players wanted" forum section. For several years we traveled around meeting up for occasional gigs and recording sessions at each other's towns and homes. Additionally, we did many "remote recording sessions" laying digital tracks and exchanging them via USPostalService and CD-R. Eventually, Deane met up with Dave Martin who gracously laid down all of our live drum tracks on the NEW cd. Please stop by our site and give it a listen,
thanks again SG101,
-DP

I've listened to my copy 3 times. I found this to be a warm and soothing compilation. It reminds me of sounds of the 60's. I'm not eloquent with my thoughts as to state a fabulous review. I found this to be a very very good album. My hat's off to these guys.
Thanks so much for your kind comments. This album was literally years in the making, and it's very gratifying to hear that others like it.
