The Lava Pups debut CD "Into The Flow" featuring 8 original tunes and SG101ers Paul The Pyronaut on rhythm guitar and JetBlue on bass is now available!
The Lava Pups is a collaborative effort created out of our love for surf and rock instrumental music and desire to have fun. Our debut CD shows the influences of Dick Dale, Link Wray, Duane Eddy and Paul Johnson. The songs range from in-your-face double-picked, glissando-ladened garage surf like "Sea Witch" to the sweetly dissonant ballad "Pacifica Blue."

Thanks Danny!

Hey Don - ya' been holdin' out on me Buddy! Congratulations on finally being a member of the "working class". I'm listening to CD cuts on the web site as I type this, and you guys sound GREAT"! http://surfguitar101.com/media/smiley/images/icon_guitar.gif
Paul was the "producer" on the CD and co-wrote all 8 of the songs. Don anchored everything with his bass playing. Both made the entire recording experience great!
AND FUN!
so who is the lead player, and drummer?
Glenn Kohlmeister -- a closet drummer for years and jazz enthusiast -- on drums. Bill T co-wrote the songs and played lead. On "sea witch," the lead switched back and forth between Paul and Bill.
Bill T. is one of my awesome students!
