The men with the burnin' guitars. From Austin, Texas.
Combining classic movie monster fandom with punk rock energy and a 60's pop sensibility, The 3-D INVISIBLES have been developing their sound since they began in 1981. The song lyrics are the result of too many Creature Feature movies and brain-rotting comic books. The music is high energy, often hard hitting. The band has labeled it's sound "Monster Rock" (from a song by British horror-rocker Screaming Lord Sutch). The band members are: "Billy Bones" Bowen on drums, "Crypt-Rocker Chris" Flanagan on bass guitar and backing vocals, and songwriter "Creepy Rick" Mills on guitar and lead vocal. The group became the core for a variety of spin-off bands for Mills and Flanagan. These include: The Zombie Surfers (surf & scary), The KAOS Killers (spy themes), Screamin' Savage & the Cavemen (50's trash rock & roll), The Hellbenders (spaghetti western), and most recently The Volcanos (high energy surf). The 3-D Invisibles have released three LP's and four 7" records on their own Neurotic Bop label, along with a compilation CD "B-Movie Brain" containing songs by them and some of the spin-off bands. So if you dig the fright scene and you wanna rock, head down to the cemetery or your local haunted house and check out The 3-D INVISIBLES!

Nameless minions with instrumental surf as their bidding. Having heavy influences in traditional instrumental surf, revival surf, swing revival, exotica lounge, spaghetti western, and spy theme they set out to develop a diverse sound. Calling on a bit of theatricality they tell their saga of being commanded to drown audiences in a reverberated madness.
Formed in 2008 on the French “Silver Coast » by three musicians involved in the Surf, Noise and Garage Rock scenes (The Irradiates, Stef & Arno, The Taikonauts, Antena Tres, Shunatao…), Arno De Cea & The Clockwork Wizards try to set Surf Music in the modern age by adding Punk Hard Core intensity and Noise Rock inventiveness. To set the things clearer, it’s like having Dick Dale swapping his guitar for a flamethrower while being backed by a robust, frenetic and tortuous rhythm section. Throughout the years, those « Brutal Surf Music » purveyors used to tour around the European continent from Lisbon to Berlin, Alkmaar to Beograd, without forgetting Livorno to eat an ice cream by the Mediterranean sea. 2021 sees the band releasing its fifth album, « Retrofuturisme volume II » (EU: ATRDR/Calico Records/Les Productions de l’Impossible – USA: Ottis Media Records) to complete a rich discography also loaded with some split records and several compilations appearances. The trio here reveals its interest for some musical freaks like Sun Ra or Chrome contributing to set the band a little more appart from « traditional » Surf Music, and showing its ability to have an unusual rhythmic and melodic approach to the genre. All that was once resumed by a member of the audience assisting at one of their shows : “Well, it is the most well organised sonic bloody mess I have ever experienced in my life!” Fredrik Thordendal.
