Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF

Surfin Birds.

I also like to think that all early 60's fender equipment is happy to be playing surf music again. After all, its the music it was meant to play.

the cannon-balls,the lift-offs,the go go-tones.or J.C. and the nail driving 5

I know I'm going to regret this, I'm even out of my depth in the shallow end...

However, the show must go on

um.... plastic packs for intravenous use, plastic tubes for eye washing etc usually Danny, why do you ask?

Salaine Dion? Razz

The Pile Drivers.
Pier Point Puritans
Old Woody and the Ramblin' Wrecks
or for geezer Surf bands; Beachwood Aged

The artist formerly known as: Synchro

When Surf Guitar is outlawed only outlaws will play Surf Guitar.

Saline Dion is solid gold.

I've been trying to come up with one that befits a surf band from land-locked central Canada (closest ocean is the Arctic).

Wheat Surfers
Pappa Surf and the Midnight Sons
Peter Parka and the Mukluks
Frozen Woodies
Electric Blanket Bingo

Any other ideas?

There's a track on Ray Daytona & the Googoobombos' album Fasten Seatbelt called "Taliban Surf."

This is not very surf sounding.....
But, I've been thinking about "Barrio SpeedWagon"
That's a take off on REO Speedwagon for you younger guys.

Muy bueno.

Richard Dell and The Daletones

Dale and the Dell Precisions. You may have to own one to get this. I was going to suggest Dick as the surname, but that leads us back to the plunger.

Inland Canada. eh?

  • Inland Sea Surfers

  • Sundance Sea Surfing Society

  • Prairie Wave Band

  • Red River Woodies

And here's your theme song. See High Plains Surfer.

Saline Dion is pretty good. Does this mean you have to do Ruby?

I kinda like the name "the Dripslingers." You know, in the sense of guitar-slinging, or in this case reverb-slinging. Plus it's got drug dealing undertones, which is inherently cool. Rolling Eyes That could be the band's shtick. Laughing
