Jeez; was wondering when you'd show up.
Gives new meaning to the phrase "Surround Sound"
Bride went to some salon-thing to get her hair done; I think that's like maybe more involved than a haircut... anyway told her good hunting.
3 nanoseconds later I had stuff cranked thru the new G-Spring.
I have now done slight tweaks on my JM pickups after enjoying the Strat this morning. Previously running something else in front of some tanks it was like there was always some compromise involved. With the G-spring it's like:
"I don't care about your echo or BBD delay, I'll shoot it through just fine and I will do what I do at the same time - if you want less or more of me that's what I have knobs for and they work - if not, we're both fine, bring it on."
Little anthropomorphic but it's a very real thing to me; on another level.
Jake, which one are you gonna gig with?

I will always gig with the brown cab. It is beautiful, just well loved(to say the least!). And the guys had it signed by Dave W while I was sick.
The Carolina Blue/gold is stunning, but the brown one has to come out live. That is the only cab I have ever had. It has housed three units now. I would swap chassis if I felt one was superior. But seeing as it is already perfect I imagine they will be on par.

Unfortunately I can't find my photos of all my Gomez stuff right now, but here's a photo I posted to Facebook a some months ago. It was my band's gigging setup, and still is, which is saying a lot!
We don't require a huge stage volume, so I've been using the G-Reverb for everything lately. My bass player uses the El Sonido in a 2x10" closed back combo. I must mention that my bass player is more fickle with gear than anybody I know. He has gone through several lifetimes of bass guitars, pedals, and amps. Owning a Gomez has seemed to have changed everything, the Sonido has become his one and only amp for some time now.
Speaking of autographed G-Springs, I had Dick Dale sign mine around the time I first got it. And here I thought I was being so original!

Jake, that's a beauty! I would've loved to have 1 of those but my funds are low now.

Haha, it's outside a restaurant somewhere in Michigan.
I just rediscovered this shot on an old photo account... I've still got the Tahitian and the Surfer, but alphaking has the Sonido now.

Is that a 12" tonering? I had heard the dimensions of a tonering cab were more critical than a traditional baffle, but never seen/heard actual proof of that. I was always curious how they would sound with non-traditional dimensions such as this one.
