I do like them indeed! Plus the presence of music stands disproves the theory that putting sheet music in front of a guitarist will get him to turn down. Fantastic!

Really enjoyed them, thanks for sharing; especially good watching that 4th one. Serious percussionist at work there.

OK, so the album will be in my PO box Monday, right....?

I truly enjoyed the John McLaughlin piece that played after the second clip.

Just hoping it'll be ready at the boat cruise end of August. If not, I'm sure I'll be hearing some of that material LIVE anyway.

What gear are you using live versus what you are using in the studio? Are you trying to match the studio tones or do you just treat the live show like a totally different beast?

The main difference is that when recording this album I always used two amps in tandem for each track, different ones - some combination of a Gomez Surfer w/ 2x15" JBL cab, '62 Bandmaster w/ 2x12" EV cab, and a Vox AC-30 w/ Celestion Blues. I never use two amps when playing live, though I've used all of these amps individually for live gigs. But other than that, the recorded tones and live tones would be pretty similar, as I use the same settings on amps, the same reverb unit and the same echo pedal.

There you go, hope that answers your question!

BTW, a quick update: The mixing is nearing completion! Seven of the 13 tracks are finished, and all but one or two of the remaining six just require minor tweaks. Currently starting to also work on the artwork, and hope to have the final mixes to the mastering guy in the next two weeks. Stay tuned and thanks for your support!

Hope the cd is ready by surfer joe, and your Spanish tour,
Or at least by SG101.
