Hey JP,
Recently found a site that streams "Twangy Surf and Spy Themes." Boinging brilliant batch of sounds!
That was a nice Tele I bought from you. Ended up selling it though because a maple board just isn't for me.
The Chicken Shack is always interesting. How about a Surf Shack?

Philjudd,
This is the site: https://theexotics.bandcamp.com/album/twangy-surf-spy-themes
You can listen to all the cuts and also buy a digital CD for $7 US.

yeah, that will always be the one that got away for me. I regretted getting rid of it about 6 weeks after I sold it, but I was laid off at the time and had to make some sacrifices. It was the pickups and the Bigsby that made that guitar special. I used to do a surf/instro version of the Chickenshack a couple of times a year. Perhaps I will do it again this spring/summer. Good suggestion.

Hey Jon,
The tele I bought from you was a Baja with no Bigsby on it. Must have me confused with another guitar/buyer.
I know the feeling, though. There are several guitars I sold in a fit of expediency and later regretted it.

Greetings SG 101. Enjoyed the site for awhile and thought I would make it official and join this surf party.
I've been fortunate to record/mix lots of rock combos over the years. Lots of stuff in the 90's with The Tiki Tones, The Huntington Cads, The Ghastly Ones, The Bomboras etc...and more recently records with The Irradiates(France), The Creepy Creeps, Jason Lee and the RIPTides among others.
This forum rules for news/info and general music geeking.
Thanks for having me
cheers
-Jim

Hey folks new member here I'm James Violet and was recommended to the forum by my brother Jack who posts here. Anyway I play bass and right tunes for our instrumental surf band Violet Sons and before I browsed the forum I posted a couple of our new videos in another post. I hope I get a chance to chat with some of you and its cool to find a place where surf music is appreciated cheers. James
