Thanks for reading! Sometimes amazing things happen, and sometimes you lose your keys. That’s how it goes, all drama is equal in the moment. No post today, as yesterday all we did was laundry and eat pizza. The adventure continues today. Thanks.

The reason we put some vocals on the album was to try and get mainstream airplay. The plan seems to have worked as "Spin the Bottle" (with TomorrowMen drummer Tony Bald singing) made it's premier on Little Steven's Underground Radio. A bunch of friends captured the moment. The next step is to make it into regular rotation.

The Pool Boys had a great time opening for The Ventures (our heroes). (Go ahead and debate whether or not they should be called The Ventures in another thread. I'll be happy to jump in on the argument). The Cornerstone is a fantastic new club in Berkeley with an amazing stage, sound, lights, room and vibe.

For our next two shows, we'll share the stage with our old friends King of Hawaii from Seattle. They haven't played much in the last 15 years, a local show now and then. I think this is the first time they've played in the Bay Area since 1999(?). They always had a lot of support in in NorCal, and Phil Dirt was a huge champion of the band, even releasing their entire "live in the pit" performance on the KFJC Double Overhead fundraiser CD.
After these shows, our next stops are Portland and Seattle, then Las Vegas in February.
