I'd say either put them all up at once, or if it's a three month
deadline, put up what you've received at the end of each month. If
they go up as you get them, it's not only going to be a lot more
work, it'll be much harder to keep track.

I think intimidation is a good concern, Brian. Also, if you put 'em up as they
come, then it's not much different than what we have now where folks
occasionally post an mp3 and most often they go unnoticed. If they are posted at
once, it is more of an event. It will be something to look forward to.

One more thought before we go "live" with this.
As people send me their mp3's should I post them as I get them or unveil
them all at the end of the deadline? Kind of a dumb question, but maybe
some people would get intimidated if the real "bands" on the list made
songs available first. I wouldn't want to discourage anyone. But I think
as long as everyone understood that this wasn't a contest and that there
will be different skill levels, we should be okay. Thoughts...???
Thanks,
BN

I like the "post-'em when you get-'em" idea...
Brian, you have been really gracious about making this cool
little MP3 project friendly and user-oriented...I think
once it gets off the ground, people will hear that ther's
really nothing at all to be intimidated about...

Do You Yahoo!?
Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around
but, then again...perhaps it would be easier to manage an
"event" style posting...posting it all at once like your
poll results in January.

I agree with Marty. All at once would be cooler. An event. I can
hardly wait!! Maybe I'll throw a party.
