Replacement Pickups; was Re: Fender Reissue Reverb Settings

You can also buy the pickups they are putting into the new American
Vintage series Jazzmaster/Jaguars from places like Smart Parts. They
are cheaper than Seymour Duncans and they sound fantastic, IMHO.
Seymour Duncan also makes a number of pickups for the Jag/JM that
differ from the vintage sound if that is your thing. But if you want
a classic surf sound I think the American reissue pickups do a nice
job.
