I like the Shadows but I think my favourite early 60's British instro
band is the awesome Moontrekkers. Anyone else dig them (or other Joe
Meek produced groups)? I've uploaded their 1961 song "Night Of The
Vampire" (link below) which sends the Ghastly Ones back to
kindergarten, muhahaha...

Even though I allready weighed in( lightly on this by backing up
Ivan, and his love of the Shads.
The really funny thing is, I never really think about either
band that much, except when I read about them on hear.
Not that both bands aren't great, but there is soooo much other
surf/instro out there. It seems silly to get all bent about these 2
bands.
