On one of my guitars I have Fender Flats .11s with the third string
replaced to a non-wound string. I prefer D'addario strings but I got
the fender flats for 4 bucks a pack. I have a set of Chromes waiting
to go on when I get my Jaguar. On my Casino I have D'addario
roundwound .11s. When I get my Jaguar I may put roundwounds on it
instead of flats and put flats on my Jazzmaster. I was pro-flat for
years and now I am coming to like roundwounds again. I use light
picks, Dunlop nylon .46, so flatwounds kill those picks. I am pretty
found of those picks so I would rather changes strings than the picks.
