That's well and good...though you gotta intelligently
resolve that sharp 5 (or flat five for a dim chord).
One shouldn't substitute willy-nilly. (Make sure the
bass player knows there's an aug or dim substitution,
as the fifth is one of the important notes that
bassists play to support the harmony -- remember those
triads!)
