I was under the mistaken belief that Gil Orr was in The Chantays when they
wrote/recorded "Pipeline."
I'm not trying to be antagonistic or anything, but at those shows you mention,
were the songs being played three or four times ones that were covered by
everyone, or was the original band one of the ones there?

Besides, this was a benefit show, supposed to be good times. And
I've been to many all day shows where a song can be played 3 or 4
times.
