I think that goes further to prove the point, Jacob. There are indeed many
covers of Miserlou, yet we still consider it a Dick Dale tune.

Misirlou is so covered. It appears on about half of every first wave
album and it is constantly covered today. I think the amount it is
covered really has an effectt.
