I didn't know that about Dick refusing to play if another intro band
were on the bill. I guess he has conceeded since. I would love to see
him play with the Nebulas.
I find it sad that Dick refuses to be lumped into surf rock. At least
he is still playing his surf stuff for a good cause to raise money
for. (his animal sanctuary thing)
How much money do you think the writers of Misirlou have made over the
year off of the royalties for that song.

If I heard Dick Dale playing one of our songs, yes, I'd be totally
flattered and stoked! But for ME to presume to perform Dick's #1
SIGNATURE SONG, prior to Dick himself getting on stage - SORRY, I find
that inexcusably unprofessional and disrepectful. Like I said,
younger folk just ain't got the same level of artistic ethics these days!
