I heard he was wounded in the war, and can only stand for short
periods, even in the 60's. On the cover of the Ventures Live in
japan cd, you can see his stool. It has to be a trip seeing
someone tear it up like he does on that disc sitting down!!
hey Marty, any ideas on finding a heavier spring for the trem on
the Mosrite? I used some washer under mine, but I'd still like a
little heavier strings on it.
