Yes, the Excellent 65 I played was REALLY close to what Ed Roman is
selling these days. I hear Nokie Edwards was rather instrumental in
having the Excellent 65s pulled, and has had his people pester some
ebay sellers. I hear he refers to them, in his accent,
as "contraband!"

good quality but you're right, those prices are ridiculous. The
Excellents were also expensive but not ridiculous. They sold for
around a grand, the next model up was around 1400- and the sidejack
was just under 3G's.
