Tommy White from the Boston-based surf rock band "The Beachcombovers" here. I just wanted to check in and let you know about our thriving little surf music scene out here in New England. We've got some great bands out here including Tsunami of Sound, The Spytones, The Derangers, Matt Heaton and the Electric Heaters and the Fathoms. While our surf scene will never match the West Coast, kiteboarding just came to my neighborhood and it adds a lot of potential for excitement. So here's a little video for you to check out. Air temperature that day - 45 degrees, wind speed approx 25mph.

Don't forget about The Trabants and Beware the Dangers of a Ghost Scorpion. Boston seems to have a building scene. I believe there are some more bands that are slipping my mind at the moment.
