Brazilian Tsunami Festival 2019

image

2019 started with the announce one of the most ambitious Brazilian surf music releases. Reverb Brasil Records and Orleone Records join forces to release Brazilian Tsunami, a three CD box set with 63 Brazilian surf bands.

Brazilian surf scene was always known for its activity and creativity, with a lot of bands from all over the country and different interpretations of the style, with influences that go from Brazilian music to metal, punk, latin and new wave, but never missing the main point of surf music: fun music to dance to.

The digital release took place during January. The box set was released in early February and release parties took place in a lot of cities around the country.

Now we are proud to announce the first edition of Brazilian Tsunami Festival, in São Paulo. 16 of the bands appearing on the compilation share the stage at Cervejaria Tarantino in two days of Brazilian surf music celebration. We will also have an album artwork exhibit by Henrique San, the man behind the box set artwork, vintage instruments exhibit, food trucks, record vendors, brewery tours and a lot more.
